I'm having trouble identifying the 3rd character of the word. Can someone point me in the right direction pls?

For 20, there are so many possibilities. Do I really have to try them all to find the right one?

Totally agree with Bronwyn on this one for level 20. Way too many possibilities. I don't have the patience to try them all. I have already tried too many
