It's a rebus. Don't let the logo mislead you. The name of the organization itself isn't important.

I got 8, but not in the way you were supposed to get it.

No idea how the person is related to the formula. But the initials and the fact it's a G****n can be enough to find this person. Wiki provided me the answer.
