Really stuck on 55. Read all previous clues but still don't understand what I need to do

I can use help on:- grade 6 - 17 (no real clues here at all)
21 & 41 ditto
50 thought slavery?
grade 7 - 22 did sums, ascii didnt work though
25, 60 no clue at all.
grade 8 - 28 - found all letters, got anagram but it didnt help
57,76 - no clue at all.
Come on folks, a little help on ANY of these please?

add first vertically and then horizontally. for the horizontal addition the hint tells you how to add. then add colours

I must admit I havent solved anything since grade 1. I'm not far off quitting because this got far too hard far too quickly. How many more grades are there?

rearrange those letters. and linked hint shows you how to answer.

look for the other land than 54a. "A" place.

militaly time (both word and number) when the sand clock is.

find animals at that address. the address is not complete so you need to guess.

the last two or three numbers are useful enough.
