yey!!! finally finished it!!! very pleased with myself,lol!!! Emily,totally did not understand ur clue for last level-ended up googling the plot points that i could remember to find it! But google comes up with a different date to wikipedia so took me a while to figure that one out!!!
Particularly enjoyed the earlier levels with the br****e and the v******e cipher!!! Thanks Emily!

I don't like asking for answers, but I'm not coming up with anything for level five with that rose. I'm looking at it, I've enlarged it, but my picture program isn't very good and I just can't see anything helpful. Would someone please just put the answer in a spoiler box?

I agree with #129! I've zoomed, stared until I'm cross-eyed...I don't see anything. I've even tried all the possible colors that it could be... will just keep waiting and coming back to it I guess. I've got nothing else - any further direction about what we're looking for would even be great!

I think you are on the right track with that son, but remember: all letters must be lower case! Good luck. And may be later on you can help me with level 9

Yes when you zoom in, you should be able to solve this riddle. Look at the corner in he lower right side and think about the color of the royal Dutch family (in English of course).

Mel - thanks for the help with the colors! I really appreciated it! If you still need help on nine you may be trying too hard. I read through info about the painter on a few websites and never found a name...I read the boards and saw names weren't working, so I took the generic info I did find and moved right along to level 10. thanks again for help w/the rose!

Whew!! It took me coming back a couple times but I did it!! The rose really stumped me b/c my picture program really wasn't the best. I went more off a clue from the boards here.

I really liked it Em, b/c I WAS able to succeed - thanks for making it, and I'll look for more levels later

But ... what is it about level 9?

I'm Dutch myself, I know all about Vincent van Gogh ;-))
and how he quarreled with Paul Gauguin and one night chased him with a knife, whereupon Gauguin turned and ... laughed at him!
That same night, after cutting off the lower side of his left ear he sent it to a prostitute, named Rachel (whom he could not pay to model for him) and so on and so forth. And I discovered the name of a Spanish music band and I tried all hints and names and it left me all but success. I'm really flabbergasted and feel that I deserve the solution to stop my crying tears

Or shall I go and look for Quinn the Eskimo then?
I don't like skippin' and a jumpin' Anyone to help me? Would be appreciated.
