okay, got level four. onto level 5 now. for level four

use this website http://regex.info/exif.cgi to get the exif data of the picture.this doesnt work on level 5 though..hmmmm

i use firefox and i got it to work... its a picture of a place in france

It was still level 4. Nothing showed up on firefox and it was 2 red x's on IE. I'm on the real level 5 now, but not exactly sure what to do. Changing it gives the same pic. Nevermind, it's a little bit different...

the first step is looking really close at the screen next to where it says "here"

look in the url for c****s. write them all down, and do what the tinyurl says to do. stick a one on the end

take all those numbers and put them in the tinyurl =]

It was unclear. And you made it deliberately so.
Try unspoilering this word "c****s" so we have a clue what your even talking about?

And as far as I can see there is nothing next to the word here except some miniscule character no-one will EVER be able to see.

Having done a screengrab and zoomed in? I STILL can't tell what its supposed to be.

That word is coords.

It comes up if you hover your mouse over that tiny spot or if you check the source for that page. Do what it says, then click on that tiny spot and type in that number there (without html at the end).

The thing next to "here" isn't important. You're looking for a tiny area that you can click on nearby.

Level 1 HELP..pretty please

I just started playing riddle games (yes I know I should have paid heed to the warning about not starting with this particular game, but what can I say, I have a rebellious nature). Anyhow, I'm stuck on level 1. I tried several different things using the c****s as suggested and still can't get it right. I think I may have the order of the steps incorrect even after shamelessly using all other previously posted hints.

Here's what I have done, if someone could tell me where I have gone wrong, it would be appreciated.

I have taken down all numbers from the source in relation to coords.

I've tried inputting them at the end of the URL on the alpha riddle page and on the tiny url page.

I've tried using all the coords and just those related to "tiny".

I've tried converting the coords into something using the tiny website by entering them in and clicking the button to shorten them (again I tried all coords and just those related to "tiny" in the source.).

I've tried inputting all of those results (which end up looking something like this "cyg5dm") into the url's.

Needless to say, I'm getting frustrated.

Again, any additional help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks in advance.

as far as my attempt at a game went there was no "hotspot" ANYWHERE on the 1st screen (apart from the obvious link to the wrong place).

I think whoever made this was trying to be too clever for his/her own good.
A decent riddle game is averagely easy at the start and gets gradually tougher with the odd easy level here and there to avoid totally annoyance.
