However I'm still staring at the grid and even with my new knowledge I have no idea what to do. Well, no idea is not the correct expression as I have tried already some things, but I haven't got the solution yet.

Okay, I tried to find a a word in the grid that has also sth in common with the list of words. Nothing worked.
I tried to cross out letters from the grid to get a mask.
And a lot more, I don't even remember.
Anyone else worked on that? I'm completely stuck here.

Yes I have been working on that here and then for 2-3 hours but I didn't get anywhere. And as it seems I have overthought it again. Okay, now looking for the wheels, lol.
I'll post if I have an idea.

im thinking there is some kind of compound we need to get the name of with the letters we have like NaCl except with what we have. otherwise how can we use what we know about what they have in common

What would be the easiest thing to do? Feeling dumb again.

wait a minute mistery when you crossed out the letters did you do it in a particular order, or did you just cross them out randomly?

First in a random order, then I tried to follow the order of the grid but since I went almost blind by doing that, I don't think I have managed to keep the order. But anagramming them didn't give me anything, so if it is the way to do that, it must just be a sequence of a lot of letters.
