It tells you that you need another variable to take away from the Golden Ratio. All I can say is:

If you don't already know, find out what is meant by a l-------m and then look for one that will connect back to the what is mentioned about the Golden Ratio

You need more than just the golden ratio mentioned in the question. You need to find the other number hinted at to complete the calculation asked.

And... who is this 'they'?

I'm in Welcome to Purely Theoretical and I can't seem to get the answer of it. I'm still trying to guess what the hell they want with the golden ratio, I know it has something to do with 1,618, but I don't know what to do next.
