I still can't find his name! I've tried harker, dracula, count, countdracula, fisherman, etc. Nothing is working!!! Help me!!!

bginburg, could you help me out with the Town of Alba? I know you need to find something from the mysterious man, but I can't find the name of a guide or fisherman.

it has something to do with angles, think angles. also, "hercemetery". maybe we rotate it pi/2 degrees and read it.

what do you have so far?

You are on the exact right track, pi/2 has something to do with trig and angles and if you focus on 'hercemetary', you know you are looking for a femal name so try seeing the last letter in her name - there are only a few possibilities if that...if you can get that letter you should be able to get theothers or come close enough to guess or google

hmmm, a sear is a prince of hell, why is it HER cemetary then...what is her name. i tried turning "her cemetery" upside down, but nothing. and i cant decipher the bottom "words" below the picture.

Before logging off I went back to look and the letters are indeed difficult to ascertain - there could be a different method but I looked at the lines w/ the dot as a handle from which to turn/rotate the symbols into letters - you can get most of the letters that way - they are not necessarilly in order - I ended up looking at the second letter, rotating it with the handle 90 degrees and using the letter in conjunction with the last letter I saw by rotating that one an opposite 90 degrees and then noticed two of the symbols were the same so perhaps they are the same letter and so on.....I also noticed some of the symbols looked like they could be different letters but a name came pretty quickly from all the googling, .etc. The more I look at the symbols the more I think I may have gotten lucky and there could be a more exact methodology

all you do is

rotate it 90 degrees(pi/4) and it deciphers itself
