Do diamonds just get dropped out from the equation? Or are they simply tacked on wherever they are... basically, are they another addition operand?

Also, is the elite something the Google should be able to help me with? Because I've gotten nowhere trying. I've done the operations in the order that the cards came at me. Wondering if order of ops counts? I'm sorry if I should put that in a spoiler... since I don't know one way or the other, I'm not spoiling anything, I don't think. I also don't know how to do spoilers...

WOW do I feel stupid for not noticing the extra minus sign... I think I'm going to break from the riddle for a few days. It's making my head work too hard. I'll be checking in.

My text editor displays HTML in different colors (comments in green, for example). I spent a few hours or so staring at the source of one page until I realized that for some reason the comment (read clue) was in black near the top of the code.

I wonder if the Maker made number 13 a deliberate impossibility... nobody can get this mother!

the arrows show you how to move the letters in the first grid, there are 3 arrow grids so you have to do 3 moves. if an arrow points to one side just move the letter to the opposite side...really easy

I think a lot of these are either you see it right away, or you stare at it for days. That one right away reminded me of

those picture puzzles with one square missing where you slide the squares around.

There were a number of others that I looked at forever that others figured out immediately.
