Has anyone noticed that apart from the first one, the number of spaces after the letter is how many times you press the button? E.g. O = 3 presses/3 spaces, D = 1 press/ 1 space etc.

Yes, I meant that Space. The spaces would fit. But I have no idea what to do with the numbers I get. Because of the other clue in the source, I tried to add them. And also tried the next number because of the text on the send button.

Did you try

the numbers you got followed by a decimal place, then the follower, because it says in the source, "the punctuation will help you, but not as punctuation", so maybe the full stop's actually a decimal place?

Sorry I'm not sure if I understand what you say, as the fullstop is at the end.

That if you got 12345678, you would put 12345678.9, because 9 is the following one from 8.

But lets say you do need the alt key for the answer, it doesn't have to be a decimal place or a full stop, or a number or a letter for that matter.....or did I get the wrong end of the stick as far as the 'alt' clue???? Hmm me thinks now.

I may know what the Alt is. It may not be the key, or the spacing, it may be

in the source, there is a thing that says "Alt = the letters of the riddle". Maybe it's something to do with that?

This is really a tricky question and we just don't know it.
