Any help on 53 would be appreciated. Apparently it's easy but i'm not seeing it, I always get stumped on the easy ones for some strange reason

This is the level with Alf! and the alphabet that you have to decode. I don't understand the key given and ciphers I have tried don't work. I tried looking back in the forum but I couldnot find anything.
I don't want the answer just a hint.

Hi, I know everyone is wasy way way beyond this level, but I only started yesterday and I'm really stumped. I've got the connection betweeen the title page and the file name, I've think I know what needs changing, but nothing gives the right answer! I'd really really appreciate it if someone could PM me or something and lend me a hand!
