The only thing I see is what you already know, three alphabets. One horizontal, one vertical, and one mixed up.

i or y as the title "eyes" sounds like "i's" and "why" aounds like "y"?

i was thinking about where the mixed up letters were being added to the vertical surely its not random as they are all common letters

yeah, ok that was a bit of a silly question as ive just ried it and it works, cheers. although, to me, it sounds like a more grammatically correct sentence when i read it my way...
