I have the

but not sure what to do with it now (feeling like it should be so obvious)

The line isn't l*** but a certain code in disguise.
The writer's name is a hint.

Got level 47 all by myself.

PS: To those people complaining that the owls are too speedy...you don't need to hit the stop button. That's impossible. As long as you're quick enough to tap a certain part of your mouse...that'll do too.

Are you sure that trick works in FF?
It works in IE and it does make it a whole lot easier, but I can't get this trick to work in FF.

it was even too quick in IE but somehow eventually I managed it, ty again was driving me mad

Examine the source of the second owl.
If you use FF, switch to IE. The fire fox is just too quick.
