  • A Logic Quest Game (aka Treasure Rebus)

    Hello,
I would like to present to you a project I've been working on lately. The name of the game is "Treasure rebus". It is online logic quest game which includes riddles and puzzles, the solving of which requires the players' general knowledge and Internet research. The game is quite alternative and a kind of difficult, probably because of my wish to recreate the feeling of a real treasure hunt.
It was released about ten days ago and so far only one player has managed to solve it.
I hope to get your comments here.

If you want to take a look at it: HERE

Please use spoilers to give hints:

The site is dynamic (page-within-page), that's why you can't go back. But I'm workng on it. You should go back to where you started, unfortunately. I know it's inconvinient...
There were players who were a little confused at first with the four puzzles from the book. Firstly, you need to find the locations and further on you will understand how to solve the puzzles.
I'll be glad if you leave more comments on the game.

What you need to do first is to read “Rules” chapter. There you will see how to play the game. Then go through the whole book by clicking on the pages. From the letter in the “Diary” chapter you will understand what it is exactly that you are searching for in the game. Look at the four puzzles in the book but don’t try to solve them at once. They are actually “half-puzzles”, which other “halves” you will find further in the game.

Bear in mind that the game is not easy. 90 % of the players can’t get to the second location, although the puzzle that leads to it is an easy one in my opinion.

It is a difficult game and few people will solve it if they play alone. Maybe if there are more people playing together it will be easier to solve it or at least get further in the game.

Please do not disclose the answers of the puzzles in public because the game is a competition which will be won by “the smartest”.

          Good luck!

Yes, as I said it is hard. But as I can see two players have managed to get the fifth envelope, so don't give up...

The second set of clues has me completely and utterly stumped. I’ve tried googling them in order by
but it’s gotten me nowhere, and there are too many to try running random combinations through search… Any hints??

I tried that too, but they’re so hard to see. And 13 digits doesn’t correspond to any number i can think of.
