it's a common name...you will know it.

look at the water shape...which part is circled?? it's hard to give any more because it is obvious

it is not the shape of the water....think of water terms - perhaps a quick lesson in river and lake terminology wouldn't go amiss

It looks like its the beginning of the water, so I've tried various words for that, but come up with nothing. Am I on the right track?

Dazed - I pm'd you with what I've tried, obviously my knowledge of all things watery are somewhat limited.

put it this way - you should be doing in a riddle anyway!! (that is the biggest clue I can think of!)
mouth is close dove but there is another word!

amcpep - one of the words was right....but remember that was only the first step....now where??

maybe you should edit dove

and you all must have it by now - so pleease help me on 12 I've read sooo much but nothing I have tried has worked!
