Hi peeps thanks for the welcome I am about to go insane looking at this level lol

The thing that I keep looking at is that tripod has three legs and the third letter is the clue but maybe it isnt even about legs

Also none of my legs idea worked out.

I had one other new idea

Taking again the 3rd letter of each word, and writing out all the 10 digits in order (0 is first or last)
First digit with R = 0 or 3
Second digit with O = 0 or 1
Third digit with I = 8
Fourth digit with O = 4 or 0

0084 or 3180 also didn't work.

Looking at the creators clue again he said

that the letter I is the clue WHERE to find the correct order so maybe there is something in the position of the letter

Also

The third letter of tripod is I which has three legs is the third word on there and I is the third vowel

Yes this level seems rather tough.

I tried removing letters that ALL 4 words shared and counted the remainder.

I have tried everything that every1 else have tried also. Wow this level is a killer but still great, Thanx @markustaljedal

Lvl 9 has to do with "building blocks", not with semantics. Hope this helps.

By the way: I really appreciate your comments in this thread. It's a great help to me in constructing my next game. In a game one wants of course that the levels should start off quite easy and the get harder and harder as the game progresses. But until real people has tried the different levels it is quite hard to know what is hard and what is easy. It seems to me know that I have placed some of the levels in the wrong order when it comes to difficulty. But your comments on them is a great help for my next game. Thanks a million!

Also, a little note on level 10: I want someone to have the pleasure of cracking level 10 on their own or with help from other players. But without help from the guy who knows the answer. Therefor I won't give any hints or clues on level 10 until either someone has cracked it or it has gone two weeks. The 1:st of may 2011 I'll release hints for all levels and also a complete walkthrough. If someone cracks level 10 before that I'll release it as soon as that happens.

All I can say about level 10 is that it is based on the same principles as all the other levels. Four digit code. So you're looking for which order and what numbers to place in that order.

I developed one more idea lats night.

I tallied how many times the letters appeared in the 4 words.
Then took the first, second, third, fourth letter = WOIP = 2513
Or third letter of each word = ROIO = 4515

Also checked if the 1x, 2x, 3x and 4x appearing letters to see if I could describe each of them to one of the 4 words.
from 1 time appearing letter - 4 times appearing letter in the #th word
3rd, 1st, 2nd, 4th
3rd, 1st, 4rth, 2nd
3rd, 2nd, 4th, 1st

Couldn't do much with his idea

counting the instances of slanting lines in letters i.e. W has 2 //, M has 1 / etc etc...this yeilds 3310 or in reverse 0133

, but not correct

Yes, that is one of the things I tried too.

The first hint we got tells us

that the italic letters is a clue for the order.
The italic letter is the third letter of the third word.
If it simply was first word gives first digit, second word gives 2nd digit, then the italic letter would not be needed, right?
So what other order could it hint to?

Still going insane trying to solve this one I can only imagine what level 10 is like!!!
