The first and the last has 3 possibilities, yes. But

you don't need to anagram to get the solution.

bit stuck on 39 got some letters but they don't anagram into anything

first thought I was doing it correctly for the very start looked like I was getting a word but then went totally wrong

Can someone PLEASE help me with level 16 and the change. I know what the change is i think, but I dont' know how to proceed. When I click on it, it sends me back and tells me to put the answer in to reach level 16. I'm so confused. I've tried everything in relation to "the change." Please help.

Can I have a hint for 40?

I know it the image's name is the key here, it must be.
But extending it according the pattern doesn't work.
I also thought the image name told me soemthing about the previous answer, but no luck with that, too.

P.S. @ Sleepy, many thanks for you help on the level 31 eggs. I never have been good in these kind of riddles. Your hints were essential.

Whohoo, I am now really in the zodiac system. (blue screen).
And still no level 42. What a looong level 41 is.

I investigated the white line at the bottom of the pic, tried cryptogram and many ciphers, I looked at my keyboard, did creative reading and rearranging, marked double letters did were next to each other (horizontal, vertical and diagonal) to see if they made a word or words.

By creative reading I got the sentence: l** s** c*** i*
But that doesn't makes sense to me.

Pretty much out of ideas at the moment.
