Learn Binary, for 1010 you have to read it backward, ie 0101 and then apply the binary sequence, ie 1,2,4,8,16,32,64.......so with 0101 there would be no 1's, one 2, no 4's and one 8, ie 2+8 = 10). Try it with the next set of binary code and a pattern will emerge)
