I've been looking at the first level for 2 days and it looks so interesting I've been avoiding asking for help because I wanted to figure it out on my own, but I can't crack it. I think the three items above the "math" may allude to

a single three-letter word, but I can't connect that to the numbers (and the 3-letter word I've got connects less clearly to the tires). Is the first number 4 digits or 3? (i.e., do we use 4-digit years, 19**, or just the 2-digit abbreviations). Is the solution connected to internet addresses?

Cracked the first step now, thanks Luthorien. I don't understand the third yet either, and I'd been working with the idea that all 3 alluded to "pop".
I understand the numbers now, and am looking for "attributes".

But attributes of the numbered items, or of their namesakes? Found some interesting but wrong possibilities: All's fair in love and war; blind (l***, j******, and (partially) O***).
