I used some obscure words because it is not fair on non-English speakers if the words are obvious.....I wanted to make it difficult for an English speaker to bruteforce answers......and you will learn an interesting word here and there as you play

Thank you jon, I got 1 It was so easy after all. I'll see what I can do with 14 and 16.

Edit: Got 10, too. Thanks again jon I didn't know that's a word.

Edit3: I guessed the one missing letter and got my fireworks, but I'll try to solve 14, too. But later, now it's time for me to go to sleep.

lvl 14 is nasty.

the dollar is $=s, the vii is a roman numeral which needs to be converted into leet.....I will spoil the rest later if you are still having trouble

You already have one letter for 15A so here's a clue for that one:

Die for faith gives you solution. Still not sure? Rearrange "Give weapons" and mix up "try" then join together.

This is a very good riddle. I really like the concept and the way it is put together. My personal preference is for answer boxes rather than "URL changing" so this is a big plus for me and is well implemented. Only one small criticism - it would be nice if the crossword showed your progress and the words filled in as you solved them. This is a small point though as I really enjoyed this entry.
