i tried

entering the dates as HTML characters

and that returned something that resembled letters, but I can't figure out what the word would be so I think I'm on the wrong track.

EDIT: Hmmm... after no luck with any other ideas, I revisited this line of thinking and found a word that seems to fit the theme of this level. I haven't found the right word yet, but am googling this new word to see what I come up with.
