Whats this figure at the top of the stairs about? OK im stuck, im going cross eyed trying to count notches, i need a little help here.

still no luck with these notches then.
two sets of them have the same number, so I am wondering if the source hint means to add 1 to 1 of the sets that hasn't gt me anywhere yet though

From what i read on his forum you should get a 4 digit number from the 2 sets. Then translate the digits, but remember to use the source clue at this point.

Where do you find these notches anyway?

you can see them without zooming, but it may be handy to zoom in to count them

it's just the clue in the source that's confusing me

Has anyone count them correctly? How do you know it is the correct number?

I don't know, I mean you should be able to translat them and get a word, like straven said there should be 4 digits, which I have, but it's useless without understanding the source clue

Then I still have nothing You mean this source clue or some of the last? There was one in the middle saying remember your word.

In response to others having similar problems after counting the notches.

I think the source clue just indicates that you are to use the 3 sets of notches as 2, ignore the space inbetween, which i already did but i still get nothing from it.

see I thought that mighht have been something to do with using that word in the anagram, it can't be related to a code or anything or else there would be a google hint in the source.

Has anyone tried filling the stair section in on paint, there seem to be letters there....maybe I think it's more a long shot, but I can't read them
