From the ancient to the modern
I found something interesting about the symbols shown between stones in the "stones puzzle". The "ancient" mentionned in the clue led me to think about an ancient numeration systems so I searched such a system in wikipedia. It appears to be mayan numbers which I translated this way (from the bottom to the top : 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32. I'm not sure about the 32 but I like to think it has something to do with binary ^^.
Hope this will help someone (I still don't know how to use this clue)Dont play funny with me, Monsieur !

Hi! I solved the same three puzzles as Clouseau and also I found the clue to the number-cards puzzle
About "From the ancient to the modern" how could we apply binary? We should lighten up the shape first ?

I found how to solve the puzzle with the numbers. It gives you a password to be entered to "unlock" the second door in the computer that is on the west.
How do you write with your phone ? (that's an easy riddle^^)Last edited by OneBun; 05-05-2007, 18:01:31. Reason: Merged posts. Please use the edit button. Posting more than once in a row is not allowed.Dont play funny with me, Monsieur !

The mayan idea seems to be correct, but how to use it is the question... The mayan numbers are 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32 from bottom to top. Do these numbers refer to column A (left) or to both columns?
However, I also understand why people are thinking binary. If it were binary I would have 01,00,11,11,10,11 (bottom to top) which becomes 1275 in decimal. Then I tried the reverse (110111110010 = 3570). None of these work.
I tried vertical alighnments for the binary, bottom left is lowest value, top right is highest, giving me 101101111100 = 2940. Thats a no-go.

Re: the wood puzzle to the east
each of the buttons represents a different symbol... it takes a lot of trial and error to figure out which is which, but once you do, you can press them in the right order and another puzzle piece will appear
Re: message from puzzle piece after you put in the second door password
Each letter in the message corresopnds to the letter two before it in the alphabet... C = A, D = B, E = C and so on.
pm me is you find that confusing

North puzzle and the south rock puzzle are the only puzzles left that have not had solution or really strong hints posted
Solving Door 2 gives you a phrase:
"UQNXG OA ENWGU
UGCTEJ VJG YQTNF"
Use Nicolica's post (#25) to solve it from there.

Use everything from the previos puzzles to figure out the Blue Hexagon puzzle
This includes Statements when receiving the quarter-sphere pieces, passwords and the symbols on the sphere pieces themselves

In Mayan writing, the dot=1, bar=5, and 20 is represented by a football-shaped symbol (American football, that is). Therefore, that top number is 13, not 32 (2 bars = 2x5 = 10; 3 dots = 3x1 = 3; 10+3 = 13).
So, if we add all the numbers up, we get 44. Or, if we use the Mayan base-20 system, we get 44,225,641. Can anybody do anything with this?
