I'm up to floor three and have no clue what they want.

Hints on what I've passed so far:
Ground Floor:

two words put together as one

Floor 1:

one word and one number

Floor 2:

animal + get away + thespian = mode of transportation

On three also. I tried high lighting, but I'm feeling fairly dense, because I'm still not sure what exactly the answer is. Any hints?

Oops. seem to have accidentally skipped to level seven, sort of solves the problem for level three.

you're on the right track with the highlighting on 3. just look for a word that you cant see otherwise.
6 is very similar to 3
