I would love some help with Oscar. I have found 13 of the eggs, but I'm going crazy now trying to find the last 3. I'm not worried about what to do with all the eggs once I've gotten them. I'll try to figure that out if and when I get there. But could someone help me with the three that I'm missing? I don't know how to say which ones I'm missing without just listing them. If anyone remembers that particular puzzle, I have one answer from France, one from Russia, one from S Korea, four from Japan, one from the UK, one from Sweden, one from Germany, and three from the US. One of the US answers doesn't really fit the rest, which is really annoying. The items in this puzzle are usually identified in two parts. Twelve of the answers I have so far are "part 1" answers, and one of the US answers is a "part 2" if you catch my meaning. So now I don't even know if the last three answers are part one or part two answers. I've basically exhausted an online list of "part 1" answers by just entering those in to see if they worked. That's how I found the Russian answer. I had never heard of it before. Anyway, if someone could just drop me a hint, like saying which countries the last three come from or anything at all like that, I would be very appreciative.

Sure, I can help with that. I'm not sure what you have so far. Does the picture look familiar to you at all? Let me know what you have.
I'm also a bit stuck on Denethor if you've done that one.Last edited by KingPorkChop; 02-03-2016, 15:47:06.

Mierte, Hotel fun? Yeesh. I like the puzzles, but the extended bouts of Google Fu levels are not my favorites. Needless to say, I took the way out given by India after entering a couple answers and realizing I was in for Hotel part 2. Anyway, if you could give me a little help on Oscar, I might get to where you're at and be able to help there. I posted a long, rambling set of questions a page back.
Oh, and for anyone reading this post in the far-flung future, a little hint: For the last answer, you're probably (correctly) thinking you need to enter something with RS NYE in Copa Br or possibly that Mos850 thing and have tried every possible way of entering that, and you're likely ready to pull out your hair and gouge out your eyes. Ignore the bit in the egg that says "any" and remember what the rest of the level has been about.LP
I say this, because I got really frustrated going through a number of 9 year-old threads with stuff like "I need help on Oddpawn Level Hotel. Pls PM." followed by "Thanks!" with no clue for us poor future people. For posterity's sake, I'll always try to add some sort of hint in my posts within spoiler tags, and I ask that others do the same.Last edited by KingPorkChop; 02-04-2016, 05:48:45.

Luthorien, I saw your post on the other site, but I can't reply there yet, so I'll hint a little here.
Your question: Hotel: Which producer helped T***** making that remix?
There's a guy who has helped T on many many things, including that particular remix, but it's not him.
He's English

Glad I could help. Now once you get to Oscar, let me know. To add some salt to the wounds on this one, I've found two more possible answers in the word search, but they aren't correct. Since they're initials, I suppose it's pretty likely that a few accidental cases would creep in.
GM(from the US) and DAF(from the Netherlands). I'm actually quite surprised there isn't a Danish car company listed. I went through a pretty exhaustive list of automotive companies from Denmark(Zenvo makes some slick-looking cars) and just punched them all in hoping to get a lucky answer - which is exactly how I got the Russian company Lada.
Also, I'm a bit stuck on Denethor.
I have the names of the six (edit 7) companies. His Master's Voice was a bit annoying, since so many different iterations of RCA have used that logo and I think it took me a while to try His Masters Voice without the apostrophe. I'm pretty sure the Rubik's Cube just means they have to be reordered(edit:and I was wrong. It's a very well known company to anyone playing this game).
I understand the order indicated by the hidden text and that the source says to write everything down. I don't know if the 6 companies are supposed to be written down vertically, horizontally, or in more of a cube shape.
I also noticed that four of the eggs say Yes and two(edit: 3) say yes, and I'm thinking that's significant. At first I thought it might mean that the ones with the capital Y started a new row when writing down the company names, but I didn't get anywhere with that. Also, I noticed using HMV and KFC resulted in eggs saying to use the full names, further indicating the importance of ordering the company names and leading into the next spoiler. (edit: I've also tried placing the companies in one long string and then using word wrap to manipulate them. that didn't work. Then I tried placing spaces after the companies that had "yes" as their eggs and doing it again. Nothing. I'm not sure where to put the company starting with "O" on the list either).
I'm guessing that one to THREE zorro is referring to the slashing Z mark that Zorro is known for. I'm guessing that I'm supposed to write the six(edit: seven) companies down in the correct format, and then use the Z slash to connect certain
letters or to omit others. I've tried that in many different ways, but nothing is making any sense.

I don't like jumping around in the chapters, but I'm properly stuck on the few that I've worked on, so I went to another chapter. And I'm stuck again.
Level Grampa
The gif rotates through five frames and seems to be a rebus. The first three are quite obvious. I have no idea what the last two are. From searching threads, it seems the last frame is two words, but that hasn't helped me at all. The title of the level, No Help, is an anagram for Phenol, aka Carbolic Acid. That doesn't seem to be relevant though. I think it's just a coincidence. I split the gif into five separate images in order to inspect them for hidden text. I didn't find anything.
So if anyone can help on the rebus or nudge me in the correct direction, I would appreciate it.
Update: Still need help. Figured out the rebus. Tore my hair out. Couldn't figure out what to do with the egg, since the first thing that comes to mind I tried a while ago. I thought of another possible solution that didn't pan out. I searched around until I found a thread that mentions the need to grab single frames. I had already split the gif, so I wasn't worried about that. However, this same post said that if you extract the gif, like I did, you lose the info you need. You have to somehow save the frame as it plays. That doesn't make any sense to me at all. I imagine there's something in the properties of the file, but I can't find it. And I don't care if that's a big clue out in the open. I hate this level. Staring at animated gifs kills my eyes.Last edited by KingPorkChop; 02-07-2016, 16:39:23.

Fantastic. I've found two more answers since I posted. I found a thread buried somewhere that gave 15 of the 16 answers. The two that I didn't have seemed very obscure. They're likely better known in Europe. One was German and the other Czech.
Edit: I have all 16 now. The last one was just a very small name for a very well known company. I had looked for the full name, but I hadn't even thought of its abbreviated form. Now to the hard part of this level.
Edit: Holy crap I finally finished this one. If you're doing this one, it's no big spoiler to know you end up with a bunch of letters. Solving them in the usual way leads to an egg. A bit of thinking on what you have done leads you to the obvious conclusion that the final answer isFord Galaxie. And then you find out it's not. But you're on the right track.Last edited by KingPorkChop; 02-09-2016, 00:15:44.

Sometimes Oddpawn makes me want to scream, because I'm stuck on a difficult puzzle, and that's a good thing. Or the puzzle isn't difficult, but it's long and hurts my eyes (you're a jerk, Jar Jar). And that's fine too. And sometimes the makers of the game think Petrograd was the capital of Russia in 1920.
Anyway, so assuming anyone looks at this, I have to add another puzzle to the list of ones currently defeating me - Luke Skywalker. I'm not sure what to do yet, but it might help if I knew who the people in the photo were. They might be irrelevant, but that's what I'm working on at the moment. I know CT, KR, and CC(or CCA or whatever her name is now since she's divorced). Top-center guy kind of looks familiar, but the guy on the bottom-right is a complete mystery. I've tried using Google Image Search, but that just returns pictures of KR. I don't want any hints beyond help with those two names. Then, when I'm still stuck on this next week, I'll ask for more.
edit: I realized I could just cut the individual images out of the photo and use that to ID the other two, and I did. AR and JLG. That made the connection pretty simple(IMDB is your friend). It's funny, because I'd tried N..... before in certain forms because of the title of the page and a connection between KR and CT. I guess I just overlooked the simple answer. The connection led to the easily understood egg, which led to....the same friggin answer that gives you the egg.
edit: nvm. I'm an idiot. Yay wikipedia. Luke defeated. Evil will always triumph, because good is dumb.
To recap, I'm also stuck on Oscar (nope, not any more), Denethor, and Grampa(old man was sent back to his home). Now to go work on Grim Reaper. Surely that one can't be too difficult...(and it wasn't. Easy as 1, 2, 3).
This one is possibly impossible for some to solve. I think there are tech issues depending on what type of capture software you use and which photo editor you have. I'm rambling a bit to let you know that I'm about to straight up give the answer here, which is no fun for anyone. In fact, before you finish reading this, use the rebus to find the egg that points to a certain thing. Did you solve the rebus? It's a tough one, but it's not impossible. The fourth picture is the real stickler. What have you got there? Some race cars? Not stock cars, drag racers, or sprint cars. It's that other type. Like in that old old old arcade game, F-1. What does that stand for? Fudgscicle 1? Formula 1? Function 1. I dunno. Maybe you need help. Anyway, solve the rebus, then think metaphorically and break out a thesaurus. . . . . .no? still here. Well, I suppose you want the answer. Well, that's bit of a problem. Get it? No? I just told you.....ah fine. The answer is literally the word "problem".
Another one I'm stuck on - Jack Skellington.
There seem to be five different clues in all the usual places. Two (or three, if you count the source which seems to point to one of the other clues) point to a certain song - BT by BHG. The picture appears to be a rebus, and the first three images of that rebus seem to point to another band. But the next four parts of the rebus make no sense to me. The final clue references a Bangles song, but it says "Not" that song. I've tried looking for song titles that might relate to the Bangles song, but nothing is working yet. Do I need to solve the rebus?
UPDATE: I AM the Pumpkin King.
In my continuing effort to aid people looking at this thread many months or even years down the road, I'll give a couple hints:
The obvious Bangles reference is significant. If you think there's an Eagle's reference (meaning the band), you're mistaken.
The hint found in the source really is the best hint.
The answer ends up being one of the most common ways you come up with answers all throughout OddpawnLast edited by KingPorkChop; 02-09-2016, 00:19:14. Reason: adding to this post rather than making a new one

Some Like it Odd - Lima
Hey All,
Pretty late to the game (I know). I'm in Some Like it Odd and I'm stuck on Lima. Everyone's posts keep saying the same thing about another way to write the answer but I'm just not getting it (maybe I'm tired?).
Push-nudge-shove welcome!
Thanks!
f=c gives the Easter egg "not the answer"
-40 gives the Easter egg "letters only"
