Had to start the whole game over, because of the facebook login issue so now i am stuck at Papa... the egg with the h****t. found the others, but this one is were is was stuck before and can't remember how i solved it.

• For Gandalf, I followed the red herring of listening to some bad hints in believing 1 down and 4 down were related. Thank you very much for setting me straight and steering me toward the right movie for 4 down.
• For Lisa, I was a total idiot. I had it mostly correct for all intensive purposes -- I just hadn't started on the right frame.
• For Calleigh Duquesne, thanks. The subtitle hint makes total sense now.
• For Ginny, thanks again. Its funny how one little error can throw you off like that.

Anyway, 4 green "Correct - move on" green buttons now. Thanks again -- it looks like I'm back to clear sailing for a while =). Hopefully I can continue to tune my sense of conviction/confidence/persistance/stubbornness (when I'm on the right track) vs. open-mindedness (for recognizing when I'm on the wrong one).

Thank you Jasina, That was the whole problem on Elrond. Funny to have been stuck on that for so long because of an error on their part. Silly.

I could use some help on Grand Theft Auto.. what IS that?!

Fredo Corleone~ I think I must have something wrong because it just isn't working out for me. I have looked at many different gift "registries" and nothing is working.

Mr. Hyde~ I know it is doing the addition like in that other level in Chapter 1... but my letters will not reveal any words whatsoever.

And alas~ Hermione is still on my list of stuck levels. I know that game and how it is played, but to me it looks to be unsolveable. I have never played the game, but got the instructions from you awhile ago. I hate this level!! It should be so easy...

Mr Hyde: Keep working on the math idea, it does work.
Hermione: The game is called mastermind. It was popular in the 1970's. Basically a game of logic. (if you need further help, feel free to get in touch)

Mastermind used to wreck peoples brains !!! You need to have the knack of doing this type of puzzle, being around in the 70's gave me the advantage of having to do these types of puzzles to keep up with my peers (it was hard then, BC [or Before Computers] we had to learn the hard way)

I think I'm going to fork off onto a different chapter, as this particular puzzle has stopped being fun right now. lyra, if you get up to this and want to try to tackle it together, let me know.
