I'll explain what the terms on screen mean. The solution will be trivial once you understand what they mean

root@computer:/$

This is the working directory

root@computer:/$ ls

ls is a command to list what files there are in the current working directory

afs bin boot dev home lib media root sys usr

This is the list of files

root@computer:/$ rm -rf *

rm -rf * is a command to delete all files in the working directory

root@computer:/$ ls

Again, ls is a command to list what files are in the working directory

root@computer:/$ history

history is a list of commands recently used

522: ???
523: history
root@computer:/$

That is enough info to solve the puzzle

From what I found this is a puzzle on it's own.

I niticed the number of white lines in the source increase almost according to a number sequence...but it deviates too randomly for me to find the next number.

it follows a pattern..but the final number you get in the source is wrong...go with the pattern

As I already said, there is one line missing in the pattern. Look for that, and it will be your answer
