HJMUM: Assuming you are using internet explorer; Microsoft have now made it very difficult for you to find your temporary internet files, by making them protected operating system files. You can enable these files to be shown in internet explorer by going to tools->folder options->view and clicking show hidden files and folders.
However, a much easier way is in internet explorer go to tools->internet options->borwsing history settings-> view files

How strange....
Are you doing it the tools -> internet options way? That should work fine.
Are you logged on as an administrator? Maybe you dont have the group permissions to view temp internet files.
Just request the file you want in the URL then, and save it.
