Read all the posts. Unfortunatley they aren't helping me with lvl 8. Read a story about the queen and Mortimer and EdwardIII. Thought the answer might be what they call the tunnels. That didn't work.

Can anyone give me a really clear hint?

im sure i sound kind of stupid, but i've read like, 5 stories about level eight and all the clues (i think this is one, but im not sure) on the forum, and im still really confused... none of the stories i've read have a name for the underground passageways... help!!!

Ahh. Finally got lvl 8. This is what my problem was:

I was typing the answer exactly as I read it in this story http://www.bbc.co.uk/nottingham/feat...m_castle.shtml You'll notice that there is no s at the end of mortimer in the story. I fianally tried it with the s and obviously that worked. Not nitpicking. Just sayin.

Thanks for the work you did on this puzzle. It was very enjoyable!

this level 9 is driving me crazy, every story I have read mentions one name but when i put that name in, it doesn't work

finally got it, some of the stories had the wrong spelling of the last name, thanks again for the help
