I found a generator that gave me an answer...but I think we're still missing something about how to put it into the URL...

I agree, used the generator on all adjacant numbers (13,14,15,16,17) but the answer is apperently not the length

Those are years for one type of olympics and the other number... well let's just say you only need one letter from each city

when you get the letters, you have to create a real word
