Also, I tried

changing the c*****.png image to a GIF and then upped the contrast. At the very bottom it appears to show some characters within the letters "c o..." those characters COULD be Morse code letters, but tried anagramming the results and not coming up with much

Did you change the url to use

the *imagename*.gif? make sure you have the right image name

fuhif - i can only get it in IE, not firefox - I get an error message in firefox instead, with the right URL, but some text in IE

Epic - good call about the change in name, I wasn't sure if that had always been there but I'd missed it .

for the missing characters, I've fiddled about in paint but doesn't seem to help; echo and gecko (for Gordon ) came to mind but don't seem to be the answer or fit with UpIt

just a note about the firefox Ie problems, its doesnt show up in FF but you can still see it by opening the page source on that error

We tried that already and got 404 page not found errors. You do mean change it from

c*****.gif to c*****22.gif (or png)??
