i am at the riddle with the train...but i didn't solve the sour lake?do i have to solve it or not?is it necessary?

You should have found something similar to what you have now....

gone through the crossroads and passed the old market, the grey park and the sour lake.
but now i'm stuck Downtown, at The Park River and with the Piece of Paper.

I know that for the river you have to spin the thing either cw or ccw, but i don't know if you move the arrow or the numbers, i don't know if you count the spaces or not, i don't know if there's one or two spaces between each number.

i've tried every possible combination, but nothing seems to work... any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

For the market I have no idea where to even start and I'm assuming the piece of paper will be used later, not now. Though correct me if I'm wrong...
