Stuck on 8 too. I tried several definitions. Maybe it's a rebus.

but maybe we don't need a word starting with "that" letter, maybe we need next one.. for example-tried periodic table with "that" letter and the next one, of course they didn't work

Roman numeral, anything I found in Wiki, chemical symbol or number, various rebus's. I tried all the usual.
