to use a paint tool but somehow I don't have it on my PC. Is there some other way?

Hmmm, strange.
All pc's should have MS Paint in the accessories folder

Do you have any picture editor program?

If you play with the lightness of the pic, you can see what's hidden too. I've just tested it.

well....not mine....some time ago (don't ask how cause I don't know) I deleted some of the accesories

Hmm..

in one of mine photo edit programs I have under Color balance >> tab: HSL the option lightness. I played with the pic to see if the info would come up but it seems that's is the only way. Don't you have a paint bucket or something similar in your program?

You always can download GIMP. It's free and it's useful for quite a lot of riddles.

But if you prefer to download anything, you can of course PM you the answer. It would be a shame to give up only because of one level.

But perhaps Mystery has another idea?

Btw so far I remember this is the only level you have to use paint.
