Found this.. From a botanical perspective, a fruit is the mature ovary of a plant, such as an apple, melon, cucumber, or tomato.

Don't feel stupid. I thought that was a tough one. I had to read the thread and find a clue to get me through it.

Here's a hint:

Don't pay attention to the actual object shown, but pay attention to the indentations in that object, and think what fruit it might remind you of.
