Like Stick RPG, the 'fun' options are the stupid ones. Don't beat up police at the jail, don't rob banks, don't play the CD market.
Just go to the arcade, play Stick Avalanche three or four times (if you can't manage an A average, maybe target practice or playing the casino and restarting until you get a couple thousand in a few quick wins), pay off the bank loan and go get employed.
If you can't time the bars, do one heavy workout and hit the school until you've gotten at least 7 intelligence. Once employed, you can do the Pablo's Blueprints quest if you want-but it takes three days and $2500 to get you $4000.
For the most part, keep playing Stick Avalanche (or that annoying typing game at work, if you can honestly get more money out of it), spending the money at the school and pestering the boss for raises. Just hit the street after talking to him to get around the once-per-day restriction. When you get the executive position is when the real money starts pouring in. Just put most of it in the bank, pay for more schooling and go back to run over more pedestrians in the boss' parking spot. By work level 20 I was getting over 100k each payday.
Well, he said it was in a European shop... but it's not in the department store or the DVD place. There's got to be some other place to buy things around there... maybe one where you have to jump a hurdle or two to see what he's got behind his counter.
