Yeah, I couldn't get the chat to work either. His favorite job is different every time you play, just try one and if he doesn't say it's his favorite, pull him out of there and try the next one.

After you get the computer, it's all downhill. Up his work ethic by taking courses, have him work for a while and then buy him everything you can. Have him play computer games to up his respect for you.
