I haven't seen any info how many waves there are, but you can choose harder levels Haven't tried "extreme" yet.

1-9: Placed circles as numbered.
A: Missile Turrets in center go first
B: Flame Thrower near entrance goes second
C: Tanks go in points where they fit
D: More Missile Turrets around outside, as needed
E: Fill remaining points with flamethrowers
F: Place Machine Guns under star
G: Line this row with 25 mines (each wave has 24 aliens. This ensures NONE can get through ever)
H: Mine at each star point for 'decoration'
