Apparently, it is that Sakura. Unfortunately, I lost the game. No idea what to do or how to "defend the castle" (keyboard? mouse?)

Use the mouse, and click on the characters on the right to purchase them. Click to put them along the way. Killing enemies will give you money, so that you can buy more defenders
