13 & 14 were pretty hard the 1st play through everything else was easy (update: on my 2nd playthrough of level 13 i got brilliant on it so its not that bad i guess).
I do have a screen shot but i cant seem to upload it (help please?) its on paint and .bmp I believe (which I think is supported). Can somebody tell me how I upload incase I'm not doing it right (I'm new and this is my 1st post)

Finally Managed to Get Brilliant on Every Level
I just managed to get brilliant on all the levels (the only challenging ones being 14 and 15).
I managed to do this at level 27 (28 technically but thats only because getting brilliant on my last ones took me from 27 to 28) so my talents weren't even close to being maxed.
For level 14:
I have seen a number of strategies that work for this level. The one I use involves building a lot of crypts (one on each high ground then a few in other strategic locations). The only difficulty this strategy encounters is dealing with ninjas () and assassins (
). Here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ut4lOF95720 is one that doesn’t involve many crypts. I'll only go into detail about my strat because its the only one I really understand and I don’t want to give you the wrong impression on one that i don’t understand.
My strategy has 2 main ways of getting rid of ninjas. The first and prefered way is to kill them in 1 shot (which is difficult and will only work under certain circumstances) or otherwise negate their stealth. Freeze, Banshee Crypt disarm, and Fear (to a certain extent) are all useful here. The other way is using meteor to kill them, which costs mana and therefore you only want to do it as a last resort.
You can try stealthing them at the very beginning and concentrating your defences at the end (by which time their stealth has run out) as a third alternative but if you are going for brilliant I wouldnt reccomend putting too much faith in this method because there are bound to be little slip ups where they do touch your gems. Also some ninjas (ie the boss) are way to fast for this and can hit your gems and get a fairways back in the 5 sec that their stealth gives them (more on the boss later).
Assassins are nearly as annoying as ninjas especially if you are going for brilliant because sometimes, they just get lucky and dodge everything thrown at them. Because of this there is little reliable help I can give you for them but I can tell you a few things that have made them a little bit easier for me to deal with.
First, I've noticed that even attacks that *miss* and do sometimes apply effects behind them. What i mean by this is on some occasions, one of my crypts will miss but still make the assassin run away or get frozen the latter being probably more useful because any crypt can apply it. Because of this dont be afraid to build a few level one crypts before an assassin level to make the chances of freezing them higher (dont go crazy though those things get expensive really quickly). Other than that the only advice i can give you is dont be afraid to use meteors on them (in moderation) unfortunately they can dodge meteors so sometimes it doesn't help but if you know your defences cant take them without it dont be afraid to use them.
I've never had trouble getting to the ninja boss with my gems intact using this strategy so I'm not sure how i can help you if that’s an issue. If you are having problems with the first 49 waves check out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lJ4uf9KeGg0 for a strat similar to mine. This strat is for people with talents maxed so, if like me you dont have them maxed yet, you will probably have to improvise the strategy a bit to suit your playstyle and talents. If your talents are completely different and don’t have much in the undead section at all check out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ut4lOF95720 for a solution that doesn’t involve many crypts.
Some examples of my changes to the first strategy include making the crypts at both entrances ghost crypts instead of chilling for the disarming (banshee) and mana they bring. I also probably don’t abuse cut down as much since mine isnt maxed and the order i build everything in is different.
ok now the ninja boss [Play Beethoven's Fifth]... [/Play Beethoven's Fifth] This guy gets his own section because I hate him and because in 90% of cases he is what will stop you from getting your brilliant star. Now you might be asking yourself "There are lots of ninja bosses. What makes this guy so special". The answer is i hate all ninja bosses but this guy is especially bad because of his health so you can’t deal with him like a normal ninja boss. For most ninja bosses, you wait until they stealth then you hold down shift and spam meteors on them until they die. On this ninja boss you still do that but it isn’t that simple. The problem is, with meteor fully upgraded you do 400 damage with it and (assuming a fully upgraded mana pool) can use it 5 times. That gives 2000 damage in meteors. Our friend the ninja boss has 2500 health. I think you see the problem.
Think back to the ninja killing methods we discussed, you certainly aren't going to be able to one shot him, meteors wont finish him off and he is much too fast for you to stealth him at the beginning then kill him at the end (by the time he is unsheathed he will have your gem and be halfway back to the entrance). So basically you need to find a way of causing 500 damage before he stealths (which considering he mostly does that on the first shot is pretty difficult) and then meteoring him to death. That’s where this comes down to luck.
You can try to use crypts (I do) and hope that one of them will freeze him (which makes this easy) the only problem with this is you get one shot at him before he stealths and its a 25% chance of freezing him. Which means unless you are really lucky you will probably be stuck doing this level a couple of times trying to not put your fist through the computer monitor after the disappointment of wasting 50 levels of work.
The method in the video with catapults and hellfire temples is the same deal; you need to hope both of them hit the ninja at the same time or else its restart for you.
I have heard of using a hunter's den to do it (I don’t know much about them never actually getting an ork den that high) but I think that requires a critical hit which is still luck.
Basically this awful boss comes down to luck.
Or does it? I haven’t actually tested the following strategy myself so I dont know if it will work but it sounds like it will if you can do it fast enough. Basically, in the strategy you can use any of the strategies I mention above (though one without many temples would be best) but when you come to the ninja boss, make sure you have ~1000g saved up, more if you have a lot of temples. Once you use your 5 meteors, build 5 temples very quickly (and each will grant you 20 mana if you have the talent) this will let you use a 6th meteor which will finish the boss. I haven’t tried it myself so I don’t know if its feasible to build 5 temples that quickly (you will need shift for sure) but if none of the other ideas are working for you give it a try (better yet just be ready to build 5 temples if your original plan fails).
That’s basically level 14, sorry for all my walls of text, any bad grammar, and bracket abuse.
For level 15: (this section will be shorter I promise)
When getting Brilliant I basically modified the strategy from http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pTtwy...eature=related because there were a few things I didn’t like about it. Mainly, my talents weren’t maxed, I didn’t have 5/5 demon lord so my towers leveled slower than his and cost more to upgrade. I tried to make up for this by using cut down early on to get gold to build on the mana pools (the main problem is lack of mana which makes ninjas awfully painful)
Once i had a stable supply of mana, I was able to cut down to get the gold to make up the difference between my defense and his and I was able to meteor anything that gave me trouble. Deal with assassins and ninjas the same way I described above or any other way that works for you but I would recommend mostly following the vid and changing what I did if your talents aren’t maxed (or any other changes that make it work better for you).
Ps. This was almost 1500 words, sorry about that, I didn’t expect it to be this long.
