You're right on that. It's a bit tricky to understand how to apply it with that "alienish" wordplay

4 times: Hmmm, how many words do you have in the souce clue? So apply on each of them.

I need some help with stage 3. I know what to do. And already read I need an

extension at the end. But I can´t make any word/s out of the remaining letters. The only two-word combination I got was not the answer.

Yes, there is a common extension. Apart from that you will find 2 words

Nobody had problems with stage 6 but me. I did what

the first letters of the sentence in the source told me

but I only get gibberish.
