Jules, you can download a free version of GIMP, an image editor. But I don't know that it would help you--I've got several editors, and I still can't find the word.

Good job! Is there a way to give a bigger hint? I've tried all combos of high/low contrast/brightness, and zoomed all over the place.

i put the brightness up a bit n the contrast down n its just in from the middle right hand side

I can see it without using photoshop, altho photoshop helps to see it clearer, its a 4 letter word hidden in the blue.
