@Theme, So, I think you've been in the Japanese anime fest. or something like that... Some days ago I saw a news about the fest. in france and was so surprised to see so many people in Europe liked those animes so much that many of them wore the cloths like the characters in the TV anime!

And DDR = Dance Dance Revolution?? I've never tried that before, I really wanted to do though... Dance...? OMG!! I need to get ready for the dance lesson!! Gotta go now!!

lili, yes exactly, something called Uppcon with people selling anime, costumes, competitions and lots of other stuff. And yes, it's become really popular here in Europe over the last few years.

Oh, there was something called Cosplay, competition where the people who had dressed up showed off their costumes on a catwalk. There were about 150 for that competition, and even more who were dressed up alltogether, actually most of the people there were. It's just not much fun to watch when you don't have a clue of who all the characters are I could pretty much only recognize Ryu and Ken, perhaps Cloud too. One of the winners was someone murph would've liked I'm sure

And well, I tried it once there, but really, watching a few people kicking ass on those games kinda makes you go I certainly didn't feel like making a fool of myself It was like watching tap dancing, only on fast forward.

Escape, how can you not like math, tsk tsk That's not logical. Personally I have studied math a lot, but then again I've needed a lot of math through my life, like on university for instance where you need a high level of math to be able to study computer science.

One of the things I like though about my study btw, is that we learn all the strategies behind many board games and how to win in them And the sudoku program is especially nice, since it solves any sudoku in 2 seconds, just by trying every possibility until it finds the solution. You've got to love computers

@ Sir Theme...I'm just glad that to get a psychology degree, you don't have to do much math!! So, does math = logical beings? If that's the case, I'm not logical!!! (I got decent grades though!! ) I must be one illogical, looney kitten!! I have never actually seen any of the anime that everyone talks about. I know not a single character. I know, most members here in these forums would kick me in the bum for that one!!

Escape, Ryu and Ken are from Street Fighter, an old arcade fighting game. Cloud...umm I dunno, just heard a lot about him from a friend of mine. There was also Jack Sparrow there, that was my reference to murph

Escape, hmm, I'd say that if you really like math, you'll usually like logics too and have a good chance of being someone who thinks logically too. But not necessarily, I'd say. Personally I am both, obviously

And I doubt, people would kick you, except for Vault and Freakshow, not many people would know about any anime characters, unless they've been playing old arcade games, or the newer games like Pokémon or Digimon

@ Sir Theme...Ha, ha!! You said my name twice again!! Well, Freakshow will put me back in his "nightmare realm." Uh-oh!! I used to play street fighter. Loved that game!!! I never knew the character's names though. I thought anime were animated shows on television, not games. Man! I am definitely in the ignorant corner!! I believe that I am actually a very logical person - and I love logic puzzles. (I have a book of them! See? I can be a geek too!? ) I just hate math.

Anime is a drawing style, used in cartoons, games, comic books and what not. The big eyes, the excessive emotions and all of that is typical of anime. And now Freakshow is probably gonna correct me

You like solving logical puzzles and have a book with them? Interesting, I guess you prove that it's not always connected with math then I think I have several magazines, I even buy British logics magazines at the train station

Ahh, I now just saw that the nuclear bomb game is another game from our good friend Renegade Unfortunately it doesn't work here, so I'll have to wait with playing it until I get home
