@Onebun, no it isn't the stress around christmas, it's the family thing.
I'm sorry to hear you have some rough and stressed times about it.
*moves over* Hey Lilli.
*Realises there is lots a room when sitting next to a butterfly. Hugs back* Hey, dear and thank you. Want some carrot nectar? I have invented it, ya know *Hands Adventure some carrot nectar*
Well I do call him "funny bunny" cuz way back when I told my husbun that I wanted a bunny & he borught me home a meowing box ()
I said to him:
"That's a funny looking bunny. It's ears are too short & the tail is too long... It's built backwards!!!!"
I still call him funny bunny sometimes.
ROFL, that's so funny a backwards bunny! fella's always get things wrong...when i ask my boyfriend to get some milk, he comes back with practically the whole shop...but forgets the milk
he always phones me now, and goes through the contents of his shopping basket before he leaves the store, because he knows I will only send him back if he forgets

Thank you dear friend, but I still don't understand. What does it have ta do with Hannukah? Maybe a stupid question... It's just... I'm curious
I will explain you the wikipedia way. Cause if I explain it then I might end up creating more confusion
A dreidel is a four-sided top, played with during the Jewish holiday of Hanukkah. Each side of the dreidel is bearing a letter. I told you the letters in my earlier post.
In Israel Nun Gimel Hei Shin refers to ?"A great miracle happened here"
This is how the game goes.
Nun - nisht - "not" - the next player spins
Gimel - gants - "all" - the player takes the entire pot
Hey - halb - "half" - the player takes half of the pot, rounding up if there is an odd number
Shin - shtel ayn - "put in" - the player puts one or two markers in the pot
I got this part from wiki as well The dreidel game is played in part to commemorate a game that the Jews under Greek domination played to camouflage their Torah study. Though the Greeks made a law forbidding the study of Torah, the Jews would gather in caves to engage in learning. A lookout was posted to alert the group to the presence of Greek soldiers; if he spotted them, he would give a signal and the Jews would hide their scrolls and begin playing with spinning tops (dreidels) and coins. This ruse gave the impression that they were engaged in gambling, not learning.
Let me know if you want to know more

Well, we each had to think of something to do for the party, but only like a third actually did. One guy held a speech like he did last year, where I wasn't there, and because of our Spanish exchange student, he held it in English. Unfortunately he was very drunk, so he didn't make any sense, and translated some expressions very badly from Danish to English
Then another guy had this game where those of us who wanted to, would stuff as many as these cookies
in our mouths. The guy who won got 56, most of the guys could stuff 50 in their mouths, I only got 26
Then there was this typical christmas game, where you each buy a package for a little money, wrap it in gift wrap, and then you take turns rolling a dice and if you get a 6, you can take a gift from the pile. Then when all gifts have been distributed you continue for a certain time and if you get a 6 you can take any present from any of the others.
The funny thing about this was that since we hadn't planned for this game and hadn't bought anything one of the girls made the suggestion that we had half an hour to go to our room and find something that we absolutely couldn't stand, and then wrap that in
Scaredy robot, pfffft We had a big storm a couple of days too, I absolutely loved it! And I love silent rain too

I'd do it now, but my digital camera is in the bedroom and my b/f is sleeping
