How was X-mas eve?

Good to hear Mystery, you needed some good sleep, you night owl.
I am fine. We had yesterday a delious first Christmas dinner and a truly wonderful evening/night. I'm preparing Christmas dinner, I have the desert, salad and soup ready, so I have to start with the the head course in a half hour.

I'm great. Christmas eve was great too I got allot of nice gifts. How about you two?

Yes, it was a very nice evening
And of course I got also some gifts, e.g. Coupons to buy me some clothes according to my taste, book, chocolate, and self-made things from my kids and niece (bathing salt, jewelry, flowers)

Today I'm gonna visit my aunt. It's kind of a tradision to be with family on 1. Christmas day, if you're not on Christmas eve. So we're coming over for coffee and cookies

@Adventure: You found Christmas more convenient or something?

@Mystery, I have tried that for many years, but my grandfather is a real carnivore. So if I (and my hubby) don’t want to ruin the Christmas sphere, we just have to prepare and also eat meat. So I choose to prepare a Biologic chicken for today. Yesterday we had, (the only minus point)

Well, yes. On X-mas people often eat meat and fish...
Will your husbun help you in the kitchen or do you have to do everything alone?

Nope, my hubby isn't even allowed to help. Only if I come in time need, but my planning this year is good (however I had one day lesser then I thought. ).

What about you. Did you or do you prepare a Christmas dinner this year? Or are you going out or are you invited or does your hubby cook?
