doglover, I'm stumped.
The equation you posted before is completely correct. And Hollandgirls calculations are correct, the only mistake she makes is in x = -200 / -20. Dividing a negative number with a negative number gives you a positive number, so it makes x = 10, not x = -10. So she does go the right way with her calculations.
I just don't get it, I was sure you couldn't just remove the square roots like that when there were additions inside. Maybe I need to go back to school?
