It's sounds like fun. I love horse riding, however I am not really good at it, but I have never have fallen of. But How hard is that with only six hours of riding experience (lessons from my aunt). Btw I am just curoius about something..did you ever thought of making your hobby a proffession?

@Adventure: that's kinda impossible i can only ride at my friends' about once a month, cuz my mom won't allow me to go more often. she doesn't like horses, she's afraid they will hurt me in some way. that's one of the reasons why i don't take any lessons. and another reason is: to make horseriding a profession, you should ride at least every day, have a horse of your own and all that. i'm 14 and i can't ride at all, most people started when they were 5-6 or so.

I am sorry to hear that. But I am glad your mother doesn't forbid you to ride at all. And yes I know most professional start very young, however there are always exceptions of course. I was just curious about it, that's all.
I live in <<deleted>>, so I see the hippisch girls often. They are so funny!
Busy with their weight and health. Looking at every ingredient of a product, but when they arrive at the candy and sweets department they don't seems to care anymore.

I am sorry, but are you saying that you have many friends who love horse backriding or the opposite of it? I am not completely sure of it.

But for your question, I really don't have an idea. I know the dressage in the Netherlands are popular, but maybe I am only thinking this, because of Ankie van Grunsven (champion in dressage). I do know some people who do at western riding c.q backhorse riding, but can't give a percentage about its popularity.

I just wonder if it is popular in your country, coz I often listen about the horse back riding inhere, miss Holland and her friends love it and your aunt likes it too. And I thought like Sumo Wrestling in my country, the horse back riding might be a national sports in your country. I don't play Sumo Wrestling though
