lili, no when we mean vanilla we mean the vanilla beans, those black long "beans" that you cut open and scrape the seeds out of, or vanilla sugar Not whipped cream. And yes, sweets would be nice but I usually have plenty of sweets

No problem Lilli Cinnamon sugar is nice yes, we use that on our rice porridge, although I prefer to add sugar and cinnamon seperately And yes, vanilla sugar is the best, it tastes like a slice of heaven And it's a great addition to cakes, makes it taste very yummy

And yes, rice porridge here is sweet, but it is also mainly a christmas dish with a special kind of rice used to make it We're having it tonight in my kitchen!

Well rice porridge for christmas is also sweet one? We japanese do eat sweetened rice but we don't make rice porridge sweet.... so I just ..awaaa ...
I've had it before in the US, and was good... Just felt wierd..
Probably yours is very tasty, better than the one in other countries!!
