I am sorry I am not very good in explaing, but if your picture is already in Paint. Just choose “save as” and save it in “.jpg format”. The size of the file become much smaller without changing the picture itself. Hope it will help you.

well the pics the right size but the files to big its 1.43mb out of 244.1kb
But in what format is it? If it is in e.g. 24-bit map [*.bmp,*.dip] you can change it in JPEG division [*.jpg,*.jpeg]. Just go to “file”, choose “save as” and change the setting “save as type (format)” into “JPEG division [*.jpg,*.jpeg]” and save the picture again.

George. In Paint, Open your Pic. click save as, below the name change it to jpeg. then click save. you will have 2 pic now one as what ever it was and one as a Jpeg file. use the Jpeg filr for your avie.
