@Lili, well people celebrate it here since a year of ten because of the promotion of the commerce. But in fact it isn’t a Dutch holiday. They are still many people who doesn’t celebrate it e.g. my hubby and I. We think it is nonsense, you can prove your love everyday. It’s just a way to make more money for some people.

I agree that sis!! St. Valentine's day in my country is just a festival, we don't really celebrate this day either. And you know what?? In my country, ONLY the girls give gift to the boys. This is the day only gilrs can tell her love. And most of them don't know its origine!!

@ Son....Ya...some people use smiley central. I just google smilies, find sites, and then save the ones I want to use later. I paste mine like an image between the [img] and [/img] tags. I never have used smiley central before though, but I think it's similiar. I think Lili uses Smiley Central.

And yes, that's a funny tradition.

I kinda agree with Adventure about da Valentine's Day. Not that I don't celebrate it, but it's not a big deal if I don't. Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't.
